The Donor,
HOPE Foundation for Research on Ageing Scholarship,
C/- The University of Auckland Scholarships Office

I wish to express my sincere gratitude for awarding me the HOPE Foundation Research on Ageing Scholarship for the year 2024 and for once again extending your support to my research endeavors. Your generosity in bolstering my research efforts, particularly during these challenging times marked by unprecedented events, is deeply appreciated.

Receiving this scholarship holds profound significance for me, as it alleviates a substantial portion of the financial burden associated with my research pursuits, enabling me to channel all my focus and energy into advancing my project. The support provided by your organization has yielded groundbreaking outcomes during my master's project, some of which we anticipate publishing within the coming year.

Moreover, it facilitated my attainment of first-class honours during my master's studies. My unwavering motivation to contribute to the realm of cancer research stems from firsthand experiences witnessing the suffering endured by individuals, including my grandmother, in the final stages of this devastating disease. This personal resolve fuels my dedication to making a meaningful difference in the field and instilling hope in those affected by cancer. As a PhD student at the University of Auckland, I am afforded the opportunity to commence my research career in this crucial area. The forthcoming support from the HOPE Foundation will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in furthering my research and nurturing the trajectory of my career in cancer research.

I am profoundly grateful for your organization's unwavering support, which empowers me to continue advancing along my educational journey towards realizing my aspirations as a cancer researcher. Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your invaluable contribution.

With Sincere Thanks,

Ben Krinkel
