2023 HOPE Scholars
We are fortunate this year, due to the generosity of our sponsors and the Friends’ of HOPE, to once again be able to grant University scholarships for research into ageing related study for 2023. These are all very worthy recipients and hopefully their work will make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders in the future.

2021 HOPE Scholarships
Despite the challenges of 2020, we have been very fortunate due to the generosity of our sponsors, to be able to award 12 University HOPE scholarships for 2021. These are all very worthy recipients and hopefully their work will make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders in the future.
2020 HOPE Scholarships
We are fortunate this year, due to the generosity of our sponsors and the Friends” of HOPE, to be able to award a record number of twelve $6000 University scholarships for research into ageing-related study, for 2020
2019 HOPE Selwyn Scholarships
Through the generosity of our sponsors and the Friends of HOPE, we have been able to award each of the following scholars $6000, to support their work on an ageing related topic of research.
2018 HOPE Selwyn Scholarships
We are fortunate this year, due to the generosity of our sponsors and the Friends’ of HOPE, to once again be able to award ten $6000 University scholarships for research into ageing related study. All these scholars are PhD candidates, which involves at least 3 years of postgraduate full time study, so they are very appreciative of this financial support and encouragement.
2017 HOPE Selwyn Scholarships
The cornerstone funding from the Selwyn Foundation plus additional grants from Family Trusts have enabled us to extend our grants to a record number of ten scholarships:
2016 Scholars
The cornerstone funding from the Selwyn Foundation plus additional grants from Family Trusts have enabled us to extend our grants to a record number of nine scholarships and two summer studentships.
2015 Scholars
The cornerstone funding from the Selwyn Foundation plus additional grants from Family Trusts have enabled us to extend our grants to researchers in 2015. Specifically this has meant one extra Scholar for the Universities of Auckland and Massey plus for the first time a grant to a University of Canterbury Scholar.
2014 Scholars
The cornerstone funding from the Selwyn Foundation plus additional grants from Family Trusts have enabled us to extend our grants to researchers in 2014. Specifically this had meant one extra Summer Student for the University of Auckland and one extra post graduate Scholar for Massey University and the University of Auckland.
